MISSION & GOALS
The Higher Education Council of the Employment Law Alliance consists of firms and lawyers committed to serving institutions of higher education. Its attorneys provide national and worldwide support and advice on issues, including but not limited to, labor and employment, governance, regulatory compliance, student discipline, out-of-state and overseas programs and campuses, intellectual property, and immigration. The firms work together to ensure that their clients’ needs are met wherever, whenever.
- The group will continue meeting quarterly, but will have interim meetings when a hot topic arises.
- Podcasts, Vlogs, Webinars, and Amicus Briefs should continue.
- The group will continue organizing ELA-member dinners/receptions during NACUA annual meetings (2024 annual meeting is in Columbus, OH).
