Its attorneys provide national and worldwide support and advice on such issues as labor and employment, intellectual property, establishing out-of-state and overseas programs and campuses, regulatory compliance and immigration. MISSION & GOALS
The Higher Education Council of the Employment Law Alliance consists of firms and lawyers committed to serving institutions of higher education. Its attorneys provide national and worldwide support and advice on issues, including but not limited to, labor and employment, governance, regulatory compliance, student discipline, out-of-state and overseas programs and campuses, intellectual property, and immigration. The firms work together to ensure that their clients’ needs are met wherever, whenever.
- The HEC meets the second Thursday of each month.
- The group plans to address current and relevant topics through podcasts, vlogs, webinars, amicus briefs.
- The group will continue organizing ELA-member dinners/receptions during NACUA annual meetings (2024 annual meeting is in Columbus, OH).
