Members Only Access to the ELA Website
As you may have discovered, the ELA has many pages with valuable resources that are for "Members Only".
Register on the ELA website here.
Once registered, our team will upgrade your permissions to "ELA Member" access that will allow you to see our "Members Only" pages. The Members Only pages are listed in the tab below, "Bookmark these great resources!"
If you are having trouble gaining acccess to the website, or the Members Only pages, please reach out to our Member Services Team at any time.
ELA Referrals
Three Ways to Send/Report Referrals:
1. Login to the ELA website and use the Member Referral tool - see tutorial.
- We welcome all firms to designate an admin or associate to enter ELA referrals via the online referral engine. Every firm has a general "referrals login" for the ELA Website. Click here to view your firm's username & password.
Username*: FirmFirstName (with no letter accents)
Password: ELAReferrals
You may change your designated password at any time.
- If you have any trouble logging in - please reach out to referrals@ela.law for assistance with your username/password.
2. Copy (or blind copy) referrals@ela.law when you send your referral via email
3. Submit referrals quarterly or annually to referrals@ela.law using the ELA approved spreadsheet.
-with this option you lose the benefit of seeing your referrals on your ELA dashboard in real time.
The ELA referral report is distributed quarterly via email and reported annually at the ELA Annual Global Membership Conference.
Our yearly referral reports start Sept 1 and go through August 31 the following year. Deadlines to submit quarterly referrals are:
March 31
June 30
August 31 - end of year referrals due (to be reported out at the Annual Conference)
November 30

All members of ELA firms are "ELA Members". Please welcome your colleagues to register on the ELA website, join a Special Interest Group or participate in a Podcast or Webinar.
Or, schedule an internal meeting with your firm and the ELA leadership so that we can review the benefits of your membership with all firm members.

Got Questions for Your ELA Colleagues?
The ELA has many ways to reach out to your colleagues. The ELA listservs can help you reach out to many individuals at once. Please keep in mind you must be part of the group in order to write to that group. Below is a list of our most commonly used listserv email addresses:
