MISSION & GOALS

The Global Mobility specialty group We are a network comprised mainly of immigration, tax and employment lawyers from various jurisdictions who focus on issues that impact the cross-border movement of international talent. This specialty group was created to raise awareness about the considerations that come into play when an employee, consultant or specialized service provider is deployed to another county; to build a global referral network; and to collaborate on business development initiatives, including multi-jurisdictional opportunities.

  • We meet every second month, usually on a Thursday at 10am EDT / 9:30 EST, to network and to discuss current awareness topics, as well as the growth and direction of the group and opportunities for collaboration. Our meetings are open to all ELA members.

  • To promote our group and further our mission, we will produce or host webinars, podcasts and panel discussions on topics related to global mobility featuring members of the group.

We invite and encourage any ELA member practicing in this area or interested in Global Mobility to join this group!
